Our Corporate Social Responsibility

Freedom are committed to a Corporate Social Responsibly programme which is tangible, practical and “fits” with the ethos and culture of our business. In addition to our targeted areas of focus, our policy generally is to act in a socially responsible manner, taking into account relevant social and environmental factors, and to promote this attitude across the market in which we operate.

Our Colleagues

We understand, due to the nature of the products and services we promote, that we have an ethical responsibility to our customers to educate them in responsible borrowing and money management

  • Operates within the ethical boundaries of responsible lending and partners with lenders who share this ethos
  • Follows the company TCF Policy
  • Provides specific training on vulnerable customers

The Community

We are committed to the wider role we serve in the community and this aspect of our Corporate Social Responsibility echoes the sentiment of our business.  As well as supporting local charities on an annual basis, we support community initiatives through BW3 at our Wythenshawe office and from our Doncaster office initiates to support M25 Housing (supporting the homeless) and Help for Homeless Veterans. Some of these initiatives include:

  • Careers events and Primary and Secondary schools
  • Work experience for local students
  • Aspirational Mentoring (Secondary/6th Form School children)
  • Skills Support for adult and Primary and Secondary
  • Reading to school children on World Book Day
  • Food banks for the underprivileged
  • Food parcels
  • Collection of coats and jumpers for the homeless
  • Collections of toiletries for the homeless


The Environment

We recognise and understand the importance of protecting the environment as a whole. We are fully committed to minimising the impact that running our business has on the environment. For this reason where possible we:

  • Encourage paperless working
  • Recycle confidential paper through a local shredding company
  • Environmentally friendly water heater/coolers (which also donate to the Africa Trust
