In what has been a challenging year for many businesses around the UK, we’re delighted that our team’s hard work and innovative prowess is being recognised at the industry’s biggest awards event.

Excellence in Open Banking
This year, we launched myfreedom and the Fusion Score – an Open Banking initiative that can give borrowers better rates and more access to credit.
Instead of simply using an applicant’s credit score to determine their eligibility, the Fusion Score adds bank transaction data into the mix, enabling the applicant to get the credit they deserve for having an income, paying rent or even donating to charity. This free service has already proven to secure customers more offers and better rates.
Best Marketing Campaign of the Year
Our collaborative ‘Here to help you find the right loan’ campaign with The Cooperative Bank showcased the launch of the UK’s first ever loans marketplace from a high street bank. This new move highlighted The Cooperative Bank’s desire to put their customers first, helping them find the best loan for their needs by giving them access to a greater choice of credit products. It was also the first loan partnership to support and donate to charity for every completed transaction.
The campaign was successfully rolled out to 68 branches nationwide, enabling staff to assist customers with their applications via iPad in real time, resulting in many customers having funds in their account before leaving the branch. Ultimately, the campaign achieved an incredible customer response, with 9 out of 10 customers recommending the service.
Credit Strategy’s Credit Awards
Now in its 21st year, the Credit Awards celebrates outstanding achievements in credit and financial services. The awards will be taking place on the 5th November 2020 via digital broadcast and will recognise the success of individuals, business divisions and pan-global conglomerates across the entire industry. The winners will be decided by a panel of 22 judges hailing from all corners of the financial services sector.
