As our first point of contact for customers seeking information about loans or mortgages, you are the public face of Freedom. You will be responsible for responding to any queries customers may have during the application process and for entering their details onto our main client database. Offering access to the company's wide range of training programs, the position provides a solid foundation for building a career in one of the fastest-growing sectors of the financial services industry.
The Role:
Using your excellent communication and influencing skills, you will explain the application process and the many services offered by Freedom
Finance. With the goal of converting every call into a completed application, you will gather the appropriate information to complete the loan
application forms over the phone and provide information about supporting documentation such as wage slips and mortgage statements that may be
needed to process the loan application.
The role can be performed on either a full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (20-hours/week) basis. Shifts are available between 8am - 10.30pm Monday to Friday and 8am - 9pm Saturday and Sunday. Three weeks of training will be provided during a three-month probationary period to enable both you and your manager to identify areas where further training may be needed.
Requirements:
While education to GCSE level is preferred, this is a role where personal qualities are as important as formal qualifications. You should have a
genuine interest in solving problems, the resilience and patience to deal with queries from the public, a polite and professional telephone manner,
the ability to remain focused under pressure, good keyboard skills and experience of working in a telephone-based customer service environment.
The Remuneration:
The starting salary for a full-time position is upwards of £13,704.02 (OTE £16,500 - £20,500) per annum, pro rata for a part-time position.
Rotating shift work attracts an additional 5% shift allowance.
